About Us

Welcome to Camp Bethel. We have been Operating on the banks of the Humptulips River since 1957. Committed to ministering to youth and anyone who needs it in the outdoors. Our Mission is to Build, Equip, Teach, Heal, Empower, and Love People. Which is why we are the right place for you, whether you want to join one of our sponsored programs throughout the year or book a retreat for your group, we are ready to spend some time with you.

The Benefits of Camp

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
   I will be exalted among the nations,
   I will be exalted in the earth.”

Life has become more and more virtual with time which is why it is more important than ever to find places to unplug and connect in a real and uniquely human way with nature, God, and each other. It is a place where we find rest and kind of quietness that can only be found away from the siren call of our phones.

When we take the time to unplug and be present we give ourselves the chance to recharge and prepare for the many things to come.

Get Involved!

There are lots of ways to be involved in camp, from volunteering, being a monthly donor, or sponsoring a camper. Whatever your gifts are, we want to help you use them and grow in your faith.

If your skills are in building and grounds keeping and you have a service project in mind to help us revitalize our grounds you can email a project proposal to contact@campbethel.net or choose from any number of projects on our work weekends, including basic grounds keeping, painting and renovating cabins, even chopping firewood.

If you are more of a people person, we would love to have you join us as our summer staff. Cabin leaders and site staff commit to a week at a time during our summer programs in July. If you want more information, you can come out to our recruitment and training weekend May 14, 2022 or send an application to our directors via contact@campbethel.net.

Becoming a monthly donor is the easiest of all! Just go to the Donate button at the top of the page and set up a monthly donation through our PayPal. Or do a one time donation. Every gift is appreciated no matter the size.

No matter what, we have a place for you.
